SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

OUR LEAGUE MISSION

is to be committed to giving all youth, regardless of race, color, creed, or athletic ability the freedom to explore the game of softball in a safe environment. We use the softball field as a platform to teach and inspire our youth to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, teamwork, physical fitness, and leadership.

ABOUT US

The Scott County Softball Club is a non-profit organization run by volunteers governed by an executive board in partnership with the Georgetown-Scott County Parks and Recreation Department. As an organization, we seek to instill ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for and of authority so players may be finer, stronger, and happier youth who will grow to be healthy, respectable adults. Our objective is to provide supervised appropriate athletic competition by encouraging our coaches, parents, volunteers, and spectators to always keep in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary and the molding of future citizens is the prime importance.

WHAT DOES SPONSORSHIP MEAN?

Due to recent events, our organization has endured many challenges. Sponsoring the Scott County Softball Club will enable the league to continue to, not only prepare our youth to be better citizens for the future of our community but, also provide a safe facility and environment for both Central Kentucky Special Olympic Softball and Adult Softball. Your sponsorship will provide scholarships to underprivileged players; enhance accessibility for the physically handicapped; purchase and maintain necessary equipment; and maintain the grounds, fields, and structures of Marshall Park.

Scott County Softball Club Affects the lives of:

  • 400+ Recreational softball girls 4-18
  • 17 Special Olympics Teams from Central Kentucky
  • 125+ Men’s and Co-Ed softball players
  • 2 High Schools and 3 Scott County Middle School teams and their opponents from Central, Southern, Eastern Kentucky

  • And the lives of all the family and friends that come out to cheer and support the players every day.

CENTRAL KENTUCKY SPECIAL OLYMPIC SOFTBALL

Special Olympics was founded on the belief that people with intellectual disability can learn, enjoy, and benefit from participation in individual and team sports with proper instruction and encouragement. The Central Kentucky Special Olympic Softball mission is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disability. This gives them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, their community, and other Special Olympics athletes. The Scott County Softball Club offers the perfect support, environment, and facility to help accomplish the goals and mission of Central Kentucky Special Olympic Softball. Your sponsorship would contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Scott County Softball Club to support Central Kentucky Special Olympics Softball.

ADULT SOFTBALL LEAGUE

Softball isn’t just for youth! Scott County Softball Club offers an adult slow-pitch league and is the home to our Men’s, Co-ed, and Co-ed Church leagues both local and around Central Kentucky. We are hopeful to offer a 19+ year old fastpitch league and Traveling Trophy Emergency Personnel league in the future with the help of ongoing fundraisers and sponsorships.
